Does Julius get his TD with Larry Allen?

I was initially perplexed about the Larry Allen for Kyle Kosier move. But I reserved judgment to see him play. I think KK played alright, and I understood the stated explanation of why the team wanted to go with someone like Kosier over Larry Allen. However, I never saw on the field proof of the theory.

When Julius ran his touchdown, they showed on the replay how Kosier blocked down and then got the second level and sealed the linebacker. That blocking seemed to free Julius for the touchdown.

Does Larry Allen make that play?

I'm still reserving judgment on KK until he gets a full season to prove himself.

My thought is that we got a glimpse of the thing that KK is supposed to bring over Larry because I don't think Larry made that play. If KK can do that consistently over the season, then I'll understand and be happy with that decision.

I was impressed with this also. I just wish KK would improve as a pass blocker. If he does, he would make a very nice guard.

Maybe after some games between Gurode and Adams, he will "get it".

Really--we will never know, however, since Gore is not finding the endzone very much this year......I seriously doubt it.

I think Allen has been hurt since early in the season though, and hasn't come back yet. Anyhow, Gore is putting up some very nice numbers even if he hasn't scored an extraordinary amount.

i really dont think KK has been the big FA pick-up we thought he was. There has been a couple of games that he has been horrible and a couple of games he was alright. I think it was times to let LA go and start getting younger at the position

You will see Rivera be a victim of the same move. He has been good at time but not good at other times.

KK will be here because of his small cap number and he can play solid at times. Romo mobiliy can save careers for linemans like KK.

He hasn't been perfect, but from what I've seen, he's been pretty good.

On that type of block Kosier made, Allen does not make it to the 2nd level in time to free JJ. Allen hasn't made a block in space at the 2nd level in nearly 5 years.

Kosier deserves major kudos for that particular play. It was a thing of beauty.
