We definitely need another injury prone defensive player for sure.

Guys come here and have ironman careers.

- We passed on him
- Miami passed on him after releasing their starter. Hooker would be super cheap so if they passed that is all you need to know about his health

Dallas already took a chance on Kazee, who is coming off a season-ending injury. Hooker is in the same boat, but he's a former first-rounder who looked like an exciting prospect in his early days in Indianapolis. Injuries were the only things that got in the way of his success. If he were to recapture that potential, he could be a valuable starter. At 25 years old, there's more to give, especially to a Cowboys secondary that is in desperate need of upgrading.

His injury probably healed too well for Dallas to consider.

Yeah..when you coach the Cowboys..eating too Mich could be rough on one. Parcells and Phillips got a bit chubby in Big D.
Oh,Man Alive Big BILL PARCELL'S had gotten such an noticeable belly on him ,he prolly had the stretched skin square footage to outfit a 24' single mast skiff w/ sail material

Dude’s career is over. Sad story but update your image of Malik Hooker. It’s not longer “potential pro-bowler” it’s now “career cut short”. No reason to advocate for his signing here whatsoever.

His injury history is why he's still a FA. He's coming off a season-ending torn Achilles injury. His tires don't need to be kicked by MM nor anyone else in the Cowboys organization.
