Does he have a single touch on the season? I thought he was supposed to be a weapon or something? We traded a pick for this guy to do what exactly?

Someone posted a video during the preseason of Olawale looking productive as a pass catcher and a receiver in Oakland, and he has one catch through 8 games here?

He was supposed to be a factor this year. But....no surprise....our clueless FO can't figure out a way to get him involved in the offense. I remember when the Cowboys got him I was anxious and excited.

One catch for three yards.

The fullback is a dying breed, but I thought Olawale's skills as a runner and receiver would be put to better use.

But that requires offensive scheming.

You wouldn't want to try to trick the defense. Tha wouldn't be fair. Line up and beat them man on man.

Not to be that guy, but didn’t he have one big play and was wide open?

Made one defender miss easily and rolled into the end zone untouched

We traded for a guy who can rush and catch from the fullback spot, which would put extra strain on the defenses and we only use him as a lead blocker, which isn't even the strongest part of his game.

We do it because that's how we play the game.

I get not running him much but not using him as a receiver some is crazy
He’s a very athletic play with good hands
Rather see him than Jarwin going out for a pass

I was really hoping we'd go 3 wide, FB, and Zeke as our base offense. Swaim is our only TE who is even backup quality today. That formation would at least be different.

"Next man up!"

If we don't use our QB at what he's good at, why would be bother doing it for a FB?
