Does one step backwards equal two steps forward?

This is what many are assuming would happen if Jerry fired Wade, and replaced him with Shanahan. Going on this assumption, How much of a step back-wards do you believe we would incur if this took place. For example...... No play-offs next season?.... Or simply no likely-hood of a Super bowl run until 2010?

I know a lot of you are convinced Wade isn't the answer. But how many of you are certain Shanahan is?

I am certain Shanahan is.
And I am not alone here.

Even if Shanahan came in here and delivered an 8-8 season, this would be a team that could still hold up its collective head up proudly.

Not like it is now: total embarrassment from top to bottom.

How is Shanahan and his handling of Brandon Marshall any different than Jerry/Wade and Pacman?

I know a lot of you are convinced Wade isn't the answer. But how many of you are certain Shanahan is?

Well if I am certain something is not working, I tend to make a change even if I am not certain it will work. Because I know this isn't.

That said, I think the one thing Shanahan brings that Wade never will is control of his team. Jerry will have enough respect for him to back off, and hopefully Shanahan realizes it was his GM duties in Denver that did him in.

Offensive lines and defensive coordinators aside, I think that is worth the change right there for this team.
