Why was JJ so anxious to get the deal done before the draft. Was it to justify a move up for McFadden? If they do trade up, does that mean MB3 is history after this season? I don't see how they can pay them both huge dollars. I can't imagine he is going to put all his eggs in the Pacman basket as far as corner is concerned but hell it is Jerry.

Not going to happen, we are not going to pay Barber and pay McFadden mega contracts.

I would rather take the smart play here and keep our RB that is already a probowler and strenghten the secondary/receiving core with our #1s.

To use your analogy, you want to dump our entire nest egg (both 1st) into and IPO (McFadden) and I would rather diversify (upgrade CB and WR).

Do you honestly believe Jerry is going to select 2 first round picks Saturday? Come on. He either trades his 2 picks to go up and get a high one or he selects at #22 or #28 and he trades the other one and falls back in the second round. He's not about to pay 2 first round picks, first round money to 2 guys with arguably 2nd round talent.

Fully agree ... and wish other's would realize that JJones would also not pay two rbs big money either. Makes no sense.
