I dont know why people are laughing at this Thread. Last I checked not one of you know BP personally.

so how can we take someone seriously, asking what BP's mindset is?

I think you have been watching too much espn bro.

IMO Parcells is being carefull with TO's...

injury. NOT his attitude. an injury like this can linger all season if not healed properly.

i believe Parcells is more afraid of losing TO for a significant amount of time this season than he is of TO tearing the team apart.

this is not Bill's first "Bar-B-Que" with a diva-like player...

Parcells is making an effort to defuse, as much as possible, the distractions associated with the media's feeding frenzy with Owens. This isn't "fear."

It is a smart and responsible move.

Of course he's concerned. He'd be crazy if he weren't.

But I'd bet that Parcells is more concerned that his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd WRs were all riding stationary bikes yesterday.

I didnt mean fear him as a person, but fear what it will do to this team and it's psyche

If he does, then why did he agree to sign him?

Bill and Jerry knew going in that they would have to coddle and baby Owens from day-1. They took a chance on him being able to contribute without being the complete a-hole he has been everywhere else. If it doesn't work then it doesn't work and we go with Crayton instead.

To me it was a stupid move to sign Owens and won't work out for us like they hoped. We are already seeing the same old Terrell "I'm special, I'm not under the same rules as everyone else" Owens. Those who thought he would change were fooling themselves. Why should he? He got his money which is what he wanted all along.

What choice does he have? His season, and our season, rides with TO. If Bill had another year, it might be different, but we all know this is it.

Does he wish he still had Key, every waking moment;)

HH, I can see what you mean and honestly I think the idea of TO blowing up makes him a little more hesistant than with other players. That's simply because he doesn't really know him and it's not someone he can just get rid of at his whim. So, despite all mocking replies, I see what you mean--though the title might be a little off-putting.

I think TO's first "blow up" is gonna be the best thing that happens to this team. It will show TO that he's not dealing with Lumpy Reid and Chunky McBaby because both Parcells and Bledsoe are gonna let him have it both barrels if he trys to get in their faces.

Parcells has handled LT, Brian Cox, Key without problems. Plus, he's got no contract issue with just dumping his ***. I'm sure TO will figure out that he's better off keeping his mouth shut.

BP may be trying to figure out the person TO and what makes him tick before reacting to him but intimidated or fearful I don't think so. One thing for sure if there is a test of wills BP will not lose that battle. Let’s just hope TO gets his can on the field soon so it does not come to that.
