Does Quinn bring more fire then McCarthy?

Coordinators usually do.....they and position coaches are more likely to play cheer leader than HCs.....HC are more cerebral and tend to use the psychology approach. The command more respect and shouldn't be considered one of the guys. That's why I hated seeing Garrett hanging out with a select few players.
Correct. I was thinking along the same lines.

Coaches cannot afford to join cliques. Hurts the team.

I don't like either one of them for head coach.

I'd perfer a young, up and comer, over some recycled other teams trash.

When the Patriots hired Bill Belichick they were taking another team's trash.

When the Seahawks hired Pete Carroll they were taking another team's trash.

When the Buccaneers hired Bruce Arians they were taking another team's trash.

Its a rather long list of successes, actually. Just like all the young up and coming coaches who flamed out as a head coach.

McCarthy is not Belichick, but he is in the same class as Sean Peyton, Mike Tomlin and has surpassed (IMO) Pete Carroll.

Quinn has been great and will get another shot someplace, deservedly so. Y'all act like McCarthy is something other than a top 5 coach and you are wrong.

McCarthy won a SB and Quinn got there.

I dont think Quinn would necessarily be a bad HC hire for someone. If you look at the personnel moves Atlanta made following the SB year, they were quite gross
