I haven't seen a new post from him on cowboyszone since the Blue/White scrimmage, yet I see him tweet often. Does anyone know if he still writes and if so, which website?

Didn't notice, but he's no longer on twitter either..

Edit: I take that back. He's still on twitter.

Edit2: cowboyszone.com is still up. But you're correct in that he hasn't authored anything since Aug.

Steven Van Over seems to be the main guy now.

Yeah, I used to read his stuff regularly. I can't read anybody else's work over there because not one of them can write at higher than a 6th grade level.

I really enjoyed Vela's articles. Now it is just Strum that I like to read for in-depth analysis on the Cowboys.

Vela was at training camp, and is developing up a group of writers. I don't know if there is anything personal going on, although.

We all hope there isn't.

As to Cowboys Nation, it still prints interesting articles and points of view...and still can water a fan's heart. Not at the level of Bob Sturm...or even the former levels of Vela himself.

I am about 100% certain that SVO uses Vela's twitter accounts to promote the other writers. I tried giving them a chance and was uninterested.

Agreed, the other writers on that site are mostly unreadable. Shame. I hope it's not a health thing.
