Does Romo have the best pocket presence in the NFL?

As much as I hate to say it I give credit to both Mannings. Doing it in the biggest game of the year vs. regular season has to give you some votes.

that is sick considering how many passes drew bress threw.
It's understandable after you take into consideration that Brees threw the ball underneath more often than Romo. If you're not looking downfield and passing short, it helps decrease the number of opportunities you're going to be sacked.

Will you stop crying about me and post something about sports. i guess Norm is a Skins fan too. he said on his show today to a tee, what i have been posting on this board.LISTEN. http://cumuluspodcasting.com/media/KTCK/KTCK175/KTCK_081808_Norm-Preseason.mp3

No, I will not. It just kind of rubs me the wrong way when people attempt to use deceipt and a lack of integrity to sneakily try to create a stir...which is what you constantly do. Now if you admitted what you really are (a foreskins fan) and wanted to debate, that would be a different matter. I have no problem with fans of other teams coming onto this site to trade barbs, debate, etc. But when one comes here pretending to be a Cowboys fan and just wants to stir **** all the time, then I'm going to do my best to reveal you for what you are...and are not!

Brady and P Manning can compare, but Romo seems to have that ability to evade pass rushers from all angles, and he makes it look effortless.

Staying cool under pressure, doing all reads and at the same time see the pass rush and adjust. That is what I consider pocket presence. And Romo IMO is in the top 5, but by no means the best.

Ok Getting sacked does not equate to bad pocket presence...How do some of these guys come up with this stuff? it's part of it but not a deciding factor in who has good or bad presence.

Drew brees is ok but not the best.

No. I say Brady, then Manning, Romo is not in their league.

Yeah, Brady's pocket awareness looked terrific when he was getting blasted by the Giants pass rush last year. How about Manning against Pittsburgh when Jerome Bettis and Co. won the Super Bowl?

All three guys have really good offensive lines. The reason Manning and Brady don't get sacked much is because there is rarely anyone around them. Plus, they know perfectly well that they have to get rid of the ball sooner rather than later, a truth missed by most middling QBs. They have great rhythm, but that has little to do with actually feeling a pass rush.

Romo is as good as anyone in that aspect of the game, mark it down!

This is the definition of a troll.

Opposing fans who come announced are not trolls.

I welcome opposing fans to come and debate all things football, that's fun!

The only thing I hate more than a real troll is a feeg admin branding me a troll because he and his members have nothing else to say.

Peyton is amazing given how mobile he is in the pocket. And the Brees stat is out of this world good.

Romo stat is nothing to laugh at...and if the running game improves this year, his numbers improve...
