With 4, does Romo have the record for seasons in which a quarterback has suffered a broken bone? Ligaments, tendons, concussions, and what might have been snapped off in certain celebs are preemptively excluded.

Why are you banging your head? What else are people supposed to talk about when there's nothing going on?

Free agency is going on and we're just over a month away from the draft. You find discussing all of Romo's injuries more interesting?

Romo's injuries have been on par with most QB's. See how many QB's you can find who haven't had cracked ribs or a broken finger they come with the territory. Romo missed 10 games in 2010 with a broken collarbone which is the same injury Aikman suffered during his career. Aikman also missed a number of games his rookie year with a broken finger. Tom Brady missed an entire season with a knee injury and Peyton Manning missed more than a season with a neck problem. Romo has never had a torn up knee or a confirmed concussion.

He's never gotten his cage rattled like Staubach and Aikman who probably had around 40 combined concussions. Aikman took more punishment his first 2 seasons in Dallas than Romo has his entire career. This is just another one of those threads designed to have pity on Romo.

Never heard Romo whine about it, so I suspect we shouldn't either.

Actually I was curious, specifically, about Romo's broken bones and how they compared to other QBs. I even clarified the question, probably even too graphically in the OP, to avoid any confusion.

Your two riveting paragraphs not only deftly avoided the question, they completely reinvented it to bolster your ill-conceived "pity Romo" conspiracy theory. BTW James Carville called, he wants his shtick back.

He never said they were more interesting. Maybe, just maybe he's trying to pass the time with conversation on a message board since it looks like Dallas isn't going to be a big player in free agency and to pass time until the draft.

I think if you do your homework, you'll find Danny White was the most injured Cowboy QB ever. Then followed by Dandy Don, Don Meridith came close to dieing because he finished a winning game with a puntured lung.

The Cowboys Magazine actually did an article on this years ago.

This is just another cry a river for poor ol Romo thread. Put him on any other team and he wouldn't have suffered a single injury and would have 5 SB rings. Just reading between the lines. You must really be bored if you're curious about his broken bones and how they compare to other QB's. What are you an orthopedic surgeon or Evel Knievel's bone doctor? Romo's had a broken finger, broken collarbone and cracked ribs which are typical injuries QB's suffer. Troy Aikman suffered the same injuries during his career plus several concussions and had back surgery in 93-94. Romo also had a punctured lung that didn't keep him from playing.

A lot of QB's have suffered broken fingers on their passing hand from having it slam into the helmet of a defender during a pass attempt. A lot of QB's have suffered broken collarbones and separated shoulders from being slammed to the turf during a pass attempt. Many QB's have suffered bruised and cracked ribs from being exposed while attempting to pass. Romo didn't suffer his first significant injury until 08 when he broke his finger. Sorry to disappoint you but he would rank well down the list of injured QB's.

Odd topic to be passing the time with don't you think? Not exactly a cheery subject. Romo is a lot closer to having the record for turnovers than injuries. He didn't suffer half the injuries Steve McNair or McNabb did. This is just another exaggeration making it appear Romo gets beat up more than any QB in the league. Even though the Cowboys aren't going to be a big player in free agency it's still a lot more interesting topic than a depressing one like this.

Free agency and the upcoming draft is the talk of the NFL right now and out of the blue some fan starts a thread in the middle of all of it wondering if Romo has the record for broken bones. :laugh2: I would rather be anticipating the teams first free agent signing than talking about Romo's injuries. As for the draft building up to it is a great way to pass the time you and the OP should try it unless you find morbid topics like this enlightening.

you claim as a WELL KNOWN ROMO HATER that he has not been that beat up.

SO far you have REFUSED to answer the question and have gone on your usual hate romo act.

So show us any other QB over the last four years that have had multiple broken bones. AND unlike your claim talk about other then fingers.

Like ribs, collar bone, etc.

By the way how many of them had lung problems due to being hit?

Bet you do not answer.

You have half the board pegged as WELL KNOWN ROMO HATERS it's your battle cry. :laugh2: No one has the answer to his question do you? It would take researching the entire history of every starting QB in the NFL to come up with an answer to his question and yours. It's laughable that anyone would even wonder about such a thing. Go kill a day on google and see if you can come up with an answer to his and your question and be sure to post the links. :toast:

Off the too of my head vick and roethlisberger are the only other current qbs who have taken as many big hits as romo has.

Anybody remember the sack he took against tb early in the year? Still not sure how he got up and finished the game.
