Does Saquon Barkley equal Zeke 2016?

In other words, should Giants be considered a lock for playoffs and potential top NFC team?

What's his impact gonna be in your view?

So you got Dez penciled in already??? LOL. It's gonna get very interesting, that's for sure! The NFC East is getting loaded up...this division gonna be scary!

I don't think the Giants will run enough to get him that sort of rushing yardage (regardless of the defenses they face)...I could see him having one of those 2,000 yards from scrimmage type of seasons, though. Eli will be effective with him in the short passing game as he has been with lesser backs (e.g., Bradshaw, Shane Vareen, etc.)...getting him the ball in space with OBJ drawing a lot of attention will make them hard to defend.
 
I think the Giants screwed the pooch on getting Barkley. They do not have the Oline to utilize him to his best ability. Eli has been done for a few years .... They will regret not taking a QB while they had a chance. Dont get me wrong Barkley is an amazing talent , maybe even better then Zeke . But as I say a lot . YOu cant fit a square peg into a round hole
 
Bigger than Zeke and maybe slightly faster. Lock to be a great player.
 
Barkley only had 3 100 yard rushing games at Penn State....and averaged 3.1 ypc vs ranked teams ...hes more Reggie Bush...doesnt run between rackles

Interesting perspective. Not sure I have as dire an outlook for Eli but you cud be right. I guess we will be able to assess fully in a few years whether they shud have gone QB. As it stands now, at least they can say they got the best player in the draft in my opinion.

Overrated player...Zeke had 2 1800 yard seasons
Barkley had 1 1200 yard season w only 3 ..100 yard games . ..averaged 3.1 ypc vs top 25 teams...he doesnt pound the ball ..hes more Reggie Bush
