Does T.O. want to be a Cowboy now?

I remember him wearing an Eagles jersey while he was complaining about Garcia in San Fransisco.

And I remember him wearing a Falcons jersey during the offseason when he was complaining about contract and demanding a trade.

So now we see him wearing a Cowboys uni. Is it a message meant for Jerry Jones, a team cancer just looking to cause trouble or a fan of Irvin just giving #88 some props.

Personally, I think Owens and Irvin made a bet and Irvin won. Who knows...maybe we would have seen Irvin wearing a T.O. jersey if Dallas would have lost?

And just for the record...I don't want him. Just wondering about the jersey thing, that's all.

Irvin predicted the e-girls to win, so i dont think he lost a bet. ALL these guys have throwback jersey's. plus T.O and irvin are tight. I'm guessing it was more of a tribute to irvin more than anything. I'm not putting much stock into it.

In my opinion it was about one thing.....

.... A T T E N T I O N

This guy is going to have an ugly life after his career is over. I just don't see him as a sports analyst.

He is going to feel so lonely and insignificant.

Probably just to annoy the heck outta of his teammates more than he has already. Hey i'm loving it and hope he keeps at it, maybe next he wears a Seau jersey since they are playing the Chargers their next game.

I think its just revenge against the eagles. TO sees McNabb hurt and senses his season might be going downhill along with everything else he's done. Wearing a cowboys jersey after a huge loss to the cowboys. maybe its just a personal thing he and irvin had or he just identifys with irvin. I doubt he will be around next year.

Can we implement some policy wherein we automatically ban anyone who makes posts about how TO will be a Cowboy? I'm so sick and tired of people whose football acumen apparently derives from video games and/or fantasy football who propose we pick up the leagues biggest cancer, who, even more damningly, disgraced the star and the team that this message board is designed to sanctify?

I bet if one makes a Venn Diagram about people who supported Quincy through it all and then cross reference it with the people who support bringing in TO/Moss/any other cancer player, there would be an extremely high statistical correlation.

This board is a Cowboys board right? So it is for fans of the TEAM. I get sick of people who obviously don't give a rat's butt about the team and only cheer for players/characters.

So who here is with me? Who here would agree that we need to ban anyone asks this ridiculous question for the thousandth time or at least declare a moratorium on these kind of posts?

TO has worn Irvins jersey before when he played in SF. This is NOT new to TO.

More then likely he was planning a post game deal where he would come out in Irvins jersey.....to rub in the latest beatdown they gave us. only thing is we did not get the memo and won the damn game. Whoops. Now all TOs got is a Michael Irvin Jersey and hes still gotta tget home. Would you rather wear, on a 4 hour plane ride, TOs jersey or Irvins. I guess TO thought so too.

I am so glad we won. We prolly spoiled a whooper of a new schtick for TO. HAHAHAHA

Pretty plausible that he had an intention of using it to show the Cowboys up. I hadn't considered that.

I'm amazed guys like Brian Dawkins or Trotter put up with it, if it was done to spite the eagles/McNabb/Andy Panda. Dawkins and Trotter seem like pretty prideful guys. It's not so much that he has an Irvin jersey or wears it in public. It's that he would have the grapefruits to wear it on the ride back to Philly after getting demolished.

I see him wearing that jersey for two reasons:

1) To thank Irvin for backing him up on-air during preseason... Mike was just about the only guy on the face of the planet doing so...

2) To piss off management, in his never-ending quest to get out of Philly...

Of course, if the Iggles had WON the game, him wearing that jersey would have been similar to him dissin' the star... so perhaps it never occurred to him that the Iggles COULD lose that game...

I don't know about censoring to such a degree, but I DO agree wholeheartedly with you about the entire TO BS. This is a Cowboys site. If someone wants to put up a thread to rub Owen's nose in the win, or laugh at how he played & acted on the sideline, fine. Just stop with the TO to Dallas crap. No real Cowboys fan even mentions the thought of the anti-Cowboy EVER playing for our beloved team after he disgraced the Star the way he did. I can't imagine the jerk shoving it in the faces of every opponent we face with his usual lack of sportsmanship. That is not what America's team is all about. We win with dignity & class. So, let's get off the TO talk. It aint gonna happen. Those who want it to, go root for the green team.

First of all you need to take it easy. Read his post and you'll see that doesn't want T.O. to come here; he was just asking if people felt that that was what T.O. wanted. Second, I'm getting sick of all this 'disgracing the Star' nonsense. The only reason that hurt so much was because we were taking such a beating at the time. I loved when Irvin would taunt the opponent and rub their noses in it. He did it because he could, and nobody could stop him. Now don't get me wrong, I don't like T.O. I think he's overrated, and unlike Irvin, I think his antics distract the team (calling out his own QB, offensive coordinator, etc.) Furthermore, the last thing Dallas needs is another aging receiver. We need Roy Williams or Andre Johnson, not T.O. But please spare me the righteous nonsense about him disrespecting the star and try reading a post properly before ripping into it.

Read the whole thing and calm down, people. I don't want T.O. and talking about him doesn't make me less of a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
