Does the name Zebby Lethridge mean anything to you?

Before we go calling for Joseph Randle to be thrown off the team because he may or may not have stolen underwear and cologne, please do some reading on Zebby Lethridge. A former star at Texas Tech, Zebby was under contact with the Cowboys when he was awarded $22 million in 1999 after suing Dillard's (the very same store Randle was arrested at.. and the same store that was involved in the Peter Warrick/FSU scandal.. what the hell is it about Dillards?) over racial profiling.

Zebby was accused of stealing a $13 pair of earrings, and it was able to prove that not only did he not steal the earrings, but that he was pointed out as being the thief solely because he was black.

Not that I particularly think losing Randle would hurt the team at all, but let the justice system play out. This guy deserves to play until proven otherwise.

But yea he got falsely accused of stealing from Dilliards.
