Does this game save Linehan an Garrett

It really agitates me knowing that we have all this talent on the team, and if we just get the proper coaching in place, we could finally break that 2nd round playoff curse.

This game tells me the team has not given up on their coach, simple as that and I fully expected them to. They didn't. It says something but as far as how long it lasts. I have no idea....

Garrett will be judged on the team's record, I think Linehan is gone after this season no matter what.

I agree. I want JG gone but I think a new OC is just as important. We saw how the defense transformed when Richards got here.

th

Yes for a minute

I would hope not. It was a real nice win last night against a team that they should lose against...at least that is how it felt.

Although the coaching staff should not be measured on one game...win or lose.

I think it is safe to say that Jerry is looking for reasons to bring back Jason. If he thinks he can do that by replacing a coordinator, I am sure he would jump at that...especially if this team finishes near .500. I think a 6 win season, the whole coaching staff is replaced but Jerry really wants to keep things how they are. I suspect if they finish near .500 the plan would be new offensive coordinator, sign Earl Thomas to a monster contract, try to find an above average pass receiving tight end in FA and role this thing back next year.

No, the emergence of the availability of Lincoln Riley has upped the ante on Garrett and if they get Riley, they get the OC as well. Same set up that the Rams have.

Nope. Very good coaching for 58 minutes does not cut it. That last possession almost cost them the game with that drivel of 3 stupid unorganized plays.

If Linehan reverts to his old sink and dunk hes gone

I think it does

We will;

Lose to the Falcons

Beat the Deadskins

Lose to the Saints

Beat the Eagles

Beat the Colts

Beat the Bucs

Beat the Giants

9-7 and that 4-game win streak will bamboozle Jerry

Heck no!!! Keep that seat hot ** on these offensive coaches. This team isn't even .500, and seem allergic to a win streak.

I think last nights game just delays the inevitable.

One win does not change the fact that this team will never win anything with Jason Garrett as HC and Scott Linehan as OC.
No way. No how.

The problem is Jerry is extremely happy today and has Lombardi's dancing in his head with this staff. That is very bad for this franchise.

I will guarantee that if the players continue to show high effort and the Cowboys don't get blown out of a bunch of games, Garrett returns. Perhaps without Linehan.

I think games like last night, in a way, hurt Garrett's job security.

Games like this make you wonder why we can't see performances like this more often with the talent on this team.
There have been games lost this season because of the lack of imagination and aggressiveness in the playcalling (traits that have plagued Garrett for years.)

When you win games like this, it makes you ask "Where was this last week? Or the week before?" It's frustrating.
