Doesn't it feel good knowing we can watch football in week 17 and relax?

Yeah it's very nice. No sweating out the last week while a nothing-to-lose Commander team tries to kill our dreams.

I'm going to enjoy watching Weeden and the backups get some game reps.

It great being able to celebrate Christmas without thinking of a do or die game the upcoming Sunday. I still want Dallas to go out there and win this game, even if we do sit some guys.

Sunday was the first game all year that I was not nervous during the game. They jumped out to an early lead and did not let them back into the game. It was nice to see Weeden at QB when Romo is not hurt.

I will be able to relax as long as Romo, Murray, Martin, Ro Mac & Dez are not on the field.

I would pay them for a higher seed. But if that isnt possible ill play them for a quarter or two then bench them. Unless they feel as if they have the urge to beat down the skins.

Christmas will be much more enjoyable this year. No thoughts in the back of my mind about what's going to happen to the Cowboys this weekend.

Romo's PC was interesting yesterday. He admitted that these past teams were not very good, but they managed to somehow win enough games to make Week 17 matter. This year they are better. I had very little confidence going into those games, especially the Giants game. I didn't watch it because it I knew they would lose.

I thought many of the same things as Romo going into the Giants and Commanders week 17 games, but didn't post much about it for fear of being labelled too negative. Interesting that Romo knew they weren't very good either.

Yes. We're playing with house money this week. Just get the team ready for the playoff game. This one is pretty meaningless.

I remember a few weeks back. before the first Eagles game, when we were talking about wrapping up the division before week 17. After Thanksgiving, who really thought that was going to happen? Feels great, doesn't it?

No relaxing for me. I don't care if we have backups in there. I won't concede a single coin to the 4skins.

Man will we feel silly if we rest the starters, lose to the 'Skins, and the Lions and Packers actually do end up tying.

I wasn't looking forward to the Cowboys playing a Sunday night game in Washington on week 17 for a trip to the playoffs. Been there, done that.

Banged up starters should play a half, but try an keep as many regulars in as possible. While the team is different I do not want a letdown in the playoffs.

No needing a week 17 win to get in the playoffs for once and can just chill this sunday for once. Everything is final in regards to making the playoffs and it just feels good to have this opportunity for the first time in 7 years.

What a nice Christmas gift from the football gods right?

Of course, it allows those who hold win or go home games against Romo to keep up that schtick. After all, we didn't have to beat the Colts, so that doesn't count as a clutch game by Romo.

Haven't heard much of that lately, so maybe the ones pushing that stupidity have seen the error of their ways. Either that or they are waiting for if Dallas loses in the playoffs to bring it up again.

Absolutely.

This will be the first time since Wade Phillips' first year that the finale really does not mean a whole lot and the playoffs are clinched.

No more tense Sunday night win and in games. And it is such a relief.

It was extremely nice enjoying the blowout yesterday as well. Have not had many like that in recent years.

I know it'll be important for the team to get out of the game injury-lite, but I'd love for the Cowboys to pay them back for that embarassing loss earlier in the year and generally finish the season strong. No let up at all. Just pedal to the medal.

Maybe not realistic, but that's what I'd like to see.
