Another legend. Gone. I never knew her personally. She seemed to always radiate an aura about herself that said, "I'm a genuine good human being through and through." That is a rarity in life.

Goodbye, Jolene. Rest in peace, Dolly Rebecca Parton.

RIP Dolly, this one stings. My aunt went to HS with her at Sevier HS and remained friends to this day. She personally gave us a tour of Dollywood in the late 80’s. She was a big part of my early life considering my mom’s side of the family are from the Knoxville area

Sad news. Was just some article this week where it said that she was looking into possibly doing an avatar concert since her health was fading some.

I am not a country music fan, but there are a few country singers that rose above the one genre....Johnny Cash and Dolly were two for me.

On a side note...at a sad time, I post this as it was so funny at the time...
