Justin Smiley-G- Dolphins Mar. 22 - 1:50 pm et

The Dolphins are believed to be targeting a third-round pick in trade talks regarding LG Justin Smiley.

The asking price would be reasonable for a 28-year-old starter if Smiley wasn't so injury prone. A fourth-round pick that could escalate to a third-rounder based on starts might be more realistic. The Miami Herald speculates that Cincinnati, Seattle, Atlanta, and San Francisco could have interest.

I dont know why you are so hell bent on trading Crayton, he's a valuable player to our offense. Trading him without a proven option to replace him is just dumb.

Trade fever baby.

Tis the season.

Why trade Crayton? He is a solid WR and pretty good PR insurance if whoever they give the job to fails.

Its like before the draft, and you get to play your the gm of the cowboys, so its trading time, besides, i still havent forgotten how crayton dropped those 2 critical balls in the giants cowboys playoff game in 2007. To me he always drops balls in big games.

I would rather go with someone like Dickerson and McCluster if we can get them in the draft, with Tindal in the lower rounds too.

dickerson in the slot?

yes, he is about 6-1 1/2 225 with 4.4 speed in 40. He reminds me of a young darren woodson. Remember Woodson was a linebacker at college and the cowboys moved him to safety rest is history. Darren Woodson ran a 4.49 at 40 best I remember, Dickerson runs a 4.4 in the 40.

Dickerson has played FB, TE and Wr at Pittsburgh.

Dickerson in the slot w/ mccluster there for some plays and KO out wide in 2011 sounds killer. This all changes though if Jerry goes WR in round 1.

KO is 6 foot 190 not our typical mold for WR, could happen but you would have to think that he is as good as glenn was imo

Really. So what other passes can you recall thats he's dropped, in any games? I havent seen him dropping many passes since he's been here. He's got really solid hands and a knack for getting open out of the slot. He also runs up quite a bit of YAC.

Thank you.

:muttley: Well, I was waiting for you to step into that one Dbair
first game at cowboys stadium, against the giants crayton dropped one
kansas city game, crayton dropped one. kansas city game, why was it a big game, we were losing and if had lost that game would have been a big upset and downer for the players.

Crayton has a history of looking upfield before the ball is securely in his hands. I vaguely remember also, cant think of what game, but crayton last year had a sure TD in his hands and dropped it;
should i go on?

Joe, you're out of your mind re: PC. He's a very sure-handed receiver, and he makes many more big catches than he drops.

On this very team, every year, there are bigger-name, higher-paycheck guys who drop more passes than PC, in bigger games.
