HAHA, Parcells and the Dolphins trying to take advantage of Danny and the Skins'. I wouldve laughed so hard if they did this for ANOTHER aging veteran. Damn...

Trade for J. Taylor? Not Interested
From Jason Reid:

J La is headed to the Comcast SportsNet studio to appear as a guest on Washington Post Live, so he asked me to put the word out on the Commanders rebuffing Miami's overtures to trade defensive end Jason Taylor, according to league sources.

Miami is seeking draft picks in exchange for the NFL's 2006 defensive player of the year, but the Commanders, who are actively trying to trade out of the 21st pick in the two-day draft that starts tomorrow, are not interested in Taylor, 33. Although Taylor, an 11-year veteran, had a typically productive performance in 2007 (56 tackles, 11 sacks, four forced fumbles and one interception), the Commanders do not see him as a good long-term fit with what they are trying to accomplish, sources said, and their stance is not expected to change.

Now we will hear the rumors of him coming to Dallas now because everybody knows we would sell Jerry Jones' mother for a SB.

Great, we'll take him for our #2 next year, BP.

Best offer you'll get. And we'll also throw in Greg Ellis, who's about to pop off anyday about not getting paid enough and wanting his new extended deal, too.

:starspin ReDBaLL EXpreSS :starspin

Take it.

No, Taylor is a vet that's actually a good player.

:laugh2:

Yeah that strategy probably isn't very effective in creating an amicable trade environment.

I would give them a second round pick for J.T. I've seen him play here in Miami for a long time, this guy is a machine, never quits. I've said it many times, he would be our Charles Haley of this era.

Haley was like 26 or 27 when he came to us.....not 33.
