i know Phillips isn’t what we like at the 1 tech, but he’s got talent. He’d definitely shore up the Dline as far as rush defense. He was a 2nd round pick (I think) and he’s a BIG boy at around 350. I wish Marinelli would break rank with his normal thinking on DTs and give this guy a look.

Yeah I don't understand how this team will go to the bargain shop for players but guys like this won't get looked at. If Maranelli doesn't know what to do with a real one tech then he doesn't need to be here or coach here.

2)Low motor and attitude issues, allegedly.
3)Marinelli perfers smaller DTs than Phillips (6'6, 341).

A big run stuffer always comes in handy, but O think they pass.
