Veteran safety TJ McDonald was released by the Dolphins. 6-2 215.
86 tackles, 3 INTs, 1FF, 5 passes defended in 14 games last year. Is he worth a look?

Spagnola’s take prior to signing McDonald:
“Well If was that great why is he out on the street?”

Spagnola’s take after we sign McDonald:
“Give the Cowboys credit; they didn’t spend big bucks in free agency and simply waited for a quality safety to become available!”

Ouch. This is so true, I can actually hear it in Mickey's voice.

Is he better at that what we have given he hasn't been in our system. Why did Miami cut him? It wasn't like they're are a great defense

Well there are two safeties that start I was specifically referring to Jeff Heath as the 'one" for what it's worth. Hope it clears things up.
