There are lots of teams that would love to have him on the cheap including us.

The guy hasnt been healthy but a cheap past Pro Bowl caliber QB is worth gambling on. If he were healthy he could win a starting gig somewhere but I am not sure that ever happens again.

ATL, Jax, Hous, CHI, lots of teams need QBs.

Indy behind Peyton is barren even.

A backup like Culpepper could be a luxury worth paying 2 mil for, but certainly not picking up his ridiculous contract for.

The Dolphins no doubt have to cut the guy and they are completely insane if they do not do so nearly immediately before he hurts himself again and collects another 5 mil from them.

Culpepper is actually proving a fairly smart guy serving as his own agent and dealing with this issue in the press which should force the Phins to release him. I am sure they have asked him to restructure but he has laughed that off. He'll prolly gt 3 or 4 mill somewhere on a 1 year deal and comtinue to make millions as a spare part unless proven too injured to play or plays well and proves he is passed his injuries.

The meeting that he mentions shows me how clueless the current Dolphins' 'braintrust' really is.

If they think any team in the league is willing to trade for their current problem, they're sadly mistaken.

Much like their other recent moves, this speaks of a front office in over its' collective heads.

Release him and move on - on your way to a top 5 draft pick in '08........

I just hope he doesnt go to chicago. I know he probably isnt half the player he used to be, but if he is and he went there it would be bad for everyone in the NFC.

LOL...that sound like a fan who doesn't have much faith in his team. So what, let Chicago get Brady, you should be more concerned with your team improving not hoping other teams worsen.

Im sure you would hope that LT wont sign with the giants or eagles when he is a FA. And why are we talking about brady in a culpepper thread?

I really wouldn't care if LT signs with any team in the NFC east, let alone any NFC team. I only care about how good the Cowboys are, if our D improves, I can careless who is the QB or RB of the other teams.

Why are we talking about Brady, because he is the best QB out there right now (I know people have different opinions), I hate him, but he still is the best and got 3 rings to prove it.

You act surprised that I mentioned Brady when the sentence right before you questioned me is you mentioning LT in a Culpepper thread.

At this point, Daunte Culpepper is no Rex Grossman. Chicago would be downgrading to Culpepper. Pray that they make a play for him - don't fear it.

Culpepper is a chucker; he should have gone to Oakland... few teams like to have the offense as aerial as Davis' Raiders do.

Besides that, this guy is about to fall into obscurity... how many times in the past two years has he thrown a pick into the endzone in the redzone because he was trying so hard?

I never, EVER though that he would fall this low; Amazing.

He'll end up a Commander.

This is exactly the type of move Snyder is famous for. Overpriced veteran seemingly on the decline but maybe able to give a couple more solid years. He could be their next Mark Brunell.

But if somehow he doesn't, I'd say CHI, DET, or even HOU make sense.

If Campbell has a bad year, then I would say you are 100 percent in the right; totally in the realm of possibility.

He should first consider signing up for Celebrity Fit Club before moving onto another team.
