Another advantage handed to the Giants. I have to say, if it were the Dallas Cowboys losing a home game, I'd be hopping mad. If Jerry Jones eventually signs up for something like this, I really hope it is as the away team. Then at least it's a good excuse to visit Europe and still keep 8 home games. :)

I think it hurts the Dolphins more than it helps the Giants. Both teams have a bye the next week so the travel won't be that big of a deal. The Dolphins lose a home game though.

It is much less of an advantage for the Giants than that Saints sham in 2005.

Thats because the NFL office is in N.Y. and is run by giant fans, so they will always get the advantage. It make me want to :puke: !

Wow, so of it was the Colts, then wat? It'd be Peyton Mannin kissed the NFL's Butt to get this.

Or wat if it was the Bengals? Then it'd be wat?

I mean come on people, Its a game In london.... they both have a bye week the next week. This is not the giants getting 9 home games. This is the giants having to fly to london, for a road game. Me i'd much rather sit in the U.s and go to an away game. But whatever i guess this is the rant thread of the day.

I'd be kind of ticked if I were the Dolphins.

Interesting how a year ago the Giants got 9 home games and now next year they have 8 at home, 7 away and 1 neutral site. At the very least, to make up for their 9 home game season, they shouldve made the Giants the home team in London.

Am I the only one that thinks there isn't a huge boost for a team to have to travel to Europe in the middle of the season?

Totally and utterly ridiculous.

No need for this.

Nobody over there is going to give a darn.

Making these teams travel is completely based on greed and absurd.

The nfl should be ashamed of itself.

It's not a boost. It just that it's no surprise that the Giants arent' the team forfeiting the home game.

i think this will help boost the worldwide knowledge of the NFL, we aren't going so that is all that matters but i think this will be good for the league and it will no doubt sell out over there.

i sitll dont get it? Why do the giants have to give up a home game? Because wat, there in the NFC East. Come on people, this is beyond riduclous. Whether it costs a home or not, they still have to fly to london. That is not a easy trip

The travel shouldn't be a big deal as both of those teams travel that far whenever they play on the West coast. Not a big deal IMO although I do agree that it should have been a Giants home game since they got an extra one last year.

No one said it's an easy trip. But Giants fans travel well (Big Blue Wrecking Crew). This will be like a 9th home game for them. I predict that Giants' fans will outnumber Dolphins fans 2-1.

But generally I agree, this is more of a disadvantage for Dolphins than an advantage for the Giants. Note to Jerry - please don't give up one of our home games for a game overseas. Thanks.
