My guess is that he put his helmet on as more of a protection from the crowd than actually being afraid of Crowder. He was probably afraid someone would throw something at him.

Sucker punch or not, Crowder ran away like a little candy ***.

Crowder did the smart thing. He got away and laughed it off. He obviously wasn't hurt, by the smile and laugh, and kept himself out of trouble of being ejected and getting fined and/or possibly suspended for another game. That is self control. Of course it did him no good cause the refs ejected him for getting punched, which IMO, was a terrible decision.

Take care of any issues with the dude later and I don't buy that put his helmet on to keep from getting things thrown at him stuff. The fans were obviously not throwing anything at him and he put the helmet on as Crowder started jumping up and down going into the tunnel. He was worried he was about to get whacked in the head when he came up the tunnel (Either by a punch or by something Crowder picked up while walking in the tunnel. And that doesn't mean I think he's afraid of Crowder just that he knew he didn't want to give a free head shot coming up that tunnel), and there is no evidence to prove otherwise. He'd been walking in front of those people for several moments before that and hadn't had a thing thrown in his direction.

Also Matt Light better get at least a one game suspension for that because that crap shouldn't be tolerated.

Not to mention 100K fine for hitting somebody in the head without a helmet...
