Dolphins waive DE Jason Jones

Apparently Jones asked the Dolphins to release him because he was told he wouldn't play Sunday.

I haven't seen any legal or other problems he's had in Miami (anybody find anything?)

With the loss of Gregory and Lawrence's back issues... would it be worth bringing him in as rotational depth?

Is this even allowed? Was he released before or after the game? If it was after, he could say he lost a playoff game and won a SB ( If we won) in the same playoff season.
