Yeah, the Saints, Colts, (St. Louis) Rams were so soft that they won Lombardi trophies.
Historically Domed teams struggle when they go outside because they are built for speed like the Falcons or Saints or Colts on Offense

We did great on the road in 2014 because of our running game.... we are built for the outside and bad weather..... we need to use the noise of HFA to our advantage....... our last horrible road playoff loss came against MINNY in their dome when Romo couldn't hear a thing

I like watching football when the weather is miserable, I just don't enjoy it when the cowboys are involved in those games. We always seem disadvantaged when we are also up against the elements, even Troy Aikman didn't care for games that involved a wet ball.

I guess that's why Detroit didn't win a game outside all season. I'm glad the Cowboys can succeed everywhere.

I enjoy the outside elements to some degree (wind, sun, rain etc) because thats how you grow up playing it. It just feels like it was meant to be outside, just not when it becomes extreme to totally cripple ability.

Agree east and I would add that it feels like AT&T actually gives us a home field advantage this year. Not sure I've felt that way before
I still can't bring myself to call it AT&T stadium lol but the fans really have brought their "A Game" this season. I have no doubt tomorrow will be any different! :flagwave:

80% chance of thunderstorms at 4 pm in Arlington tomorrow.

In case we want to test if the retractable roof is in working order.

Ice conditions favor strong running and tough defensive designed teams...no getting around the fact that strong passing teams don't fare as well.

Dallas is a balanced offense, so a domed stadium is to their advantage. This fan doesn't mind being able to take advantage of construction features. The slope of the field in the old stadium was an advantage of a Dallas team as well. They knew the lay of the land best...kind of like day time light in AT&T.

Now that fans are coming back to where the Cowboys play, in spirit...advantages go beyond the dome.

Open the roof and blow some snow onto the field, we have to make Green Bay feel right at home as we kick them in the teeth.

If we go into halftime up 7+ points, I'd totally open the roof. Is that allowed?
Apparently, it's OK to open the roof for the 2nd half, but only if you properly fill out and submit the “NFL Retractable Roof Halftime Election Form” no less than 90 minutes before the game starts. One copy goes to the league, another copy to your opponent.

I didn't make that up.

I laughed out loud.

And that was when I thought you made it up.
