Dominic Rhodes to be cut?

I'm a proclaimed JuJo fan, but could this be an upgrade over JuJo and bolster our running game? Two bruisers with MBIII and Rhodes?

It may be a stupid thought, but it's a thought.

I don't see Dallas bringing in any players at this stage besides Tank Johnson. What we have right now is Your Dallas Cowboys for 2007

You can't be a proclaimed fan of Julius Jones if you think Dominic Rhodes might be an upgrade.

When things like this come about I wonder if that player may be in more trouble and the team just wants to cut ties. He already served a 4 game suspension. Next screw up and he is gone for a year. He got a decent sized contract from the Raiders of 2 years for $7.5 million. Is Justin Fargas really someone worth counting on as the top back up? I wouldn't think so. Not with his two career TDs and 1288 yards in 5 years. Makes me wonder.

I don't post much, so you can look for them and see me defending his place on the team and position as starter. I was hoping he would have a breakout year since it is a contract year and he just keeps not doing much.

I want the explosiveness he provided in his rookie season.

Me, too. I was very high on Julius and I still think he's a good back.
My comment was more an indictment of Rhodes, though, who I think benefited from the scheme and the real weapons in Indy. Getting cut from a bad Raiders team is not an indication he'd be an upgrade over our starter.
