They can't overlook the first team they play after a bye. For one thing, they have additional time to prepare for them. They shouldn't underestimate a team that won the Super Bowl only two seasons ago.
With that said, as a fan, I don't see the Rams offense matching up well against our defense. Stafford is no spring chicken and will be facing a very aggressive pass rush. Thus far, he has thrown almost as many INT's as TD's.
Their primary RB will be out several weeks and his backup is also battling injury.
Most of all, I think the mentality of this team has changed as a result of the beatings they took from the Cardinals and the 49ers. I don't think they will let any other team sneak up on them this season.
