They are thin on the OL and Tyron is an injury waiting to happen so let's go get another washed up LB to stunt the development of the talented young LBs we already have is so Jerry.

What about dependable and proven talent that functions strongly in special team rolls, and don't command large salaries...what is wrong then? Go with lesser talent for a young age...but blame play on Jerry Jones. Now that is enrichment in full bloom...

Did you tell Chuckles that the price of items at Dollar Tree is now $1.25?

The idea that one has to do with another is silly. You can add a vet OL and a vet LB lol

This is not a development year, anyway. Developing Overshown or whoever isn't as important as building a stronger, deeper roster and I don't buy the argument that adding a vet LB stunts them anyway.

Try to see what is presented...click, smick...oh, chick.

Now explain away all the short comings standing out in that very group to see the many pitfalls that have to still be overcome if a brain is used as credible and not just ring tapping to cover trip areas...Every one on roster has talent, now what seperates fans from using gross excuses instead of points observed beyond, atta-boy.

(cute, using a quote to discredit that very author)

Now explain how that group is the Rock of Gibraltar and is also now proven as well...
Ok, I just read all of the article. Wow, I did not know Mario Herrera, Jr was the writer? He's actually a very good writer and very informative with his article write-ups. He pointed out some solid points of concern, but I don't believe right now is the time to panic. The very talented but inexperienced LBs in our Defense need as much playtime as possible, hence I hope they all get lots of preseason playing time. I also feel the LB group will be ok with the current talent. If by late September/early October it seems those young bucks are not getting the job done, or if LVE starts having neck issues once again, then by all means go look for a veteran LB as a trade, but I don't believe right now is the time to do so. Give our young LBs all the game experience they can get and hope no one gets injured.

Reports are he’s back to 100% and playing well
I haven't heard anything about Cox playing well. So I guess pre season will be the indicator if he's actually back. But given that Clark is the primary back up that'd suggest he's not doing that well

You mean like Anthony Barr? He was awful and hurt the Cowboys run defense. Youth is an investment in the future. I am not saying they should play 22 rookies. I am saying they drafted some young talented LBs who will need playing time to develop their potential into real skills on the field. Adding someone like Barr means one of those LBs is benched or cut.

Unless we see something amazing in the preseason games, the Cowboys could also use another veteran along the offensive line as well as RB.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we saw something amazing, like the next Priest Holmes or Arian Foster, undrafted guys that had crazy productive seasons? It is rare but it has happened.

Exactly what player before cuts is a deal worth pursuing...please inform status.
There will be cuts before the 1st game, right? Jerry can deal one of his DE's for an OG if he wants to.

Always take it with a grain of salt as everybody is superstar at this point.

Oh I'm watching tomorrow afternoon and paying attention. Especially when Jacksonville's first unit is on the carpet, as to line play on both sides of the ball.
