Any thoughts on this? They've got Iupati off the board, of course.

I would like to see Taylor Mays take Carpenter's spot at nickel LB.

Don Banks must of read Hos's Nightmare draft thread and decided to participate.

This is how I look at Mays right now...

You have to ask yourself (honestly), is Mays a better safety prospect than Roy was in 2002?

If the answer is yes, then getting Mays at #27 is pretty damn good compared to #8.

If the answer is probably even, then you still make the pick at #27.

If the answer is no, then you better have a more talented player to pick at #27 on your board or you trade down.

However, saying Mays is a bust waiting to happen or has no talent is just ridiculous IMO.

He could have at least participated in the thread though.

No, you ask yourself if the game tapes are wrong and he does not get owned in coverage. In Todays NFL any safety that cannot be at least average in coverage is worthless no matter how hard he hits.

Have you ever stopped to think that your propensity to not respond to others directly makes it look like you have Tourette's Syndrome? I often read what you post and wonder, "what the hell is burm all up in arms about?" So I have to sift back through the thread to find something remotely resembling what you are babbling about. If I am at all interested in where it comes from. Makes me wonder if you yell stuff like "french fries!" for no apparent reason.

It is easier to figure you out when the thread is new. The longer the thread the more I wonder about french fries.

I have no problems keeping track. If others cannot that is their problem.

The answer is no, and it isnt even close. RW was EONS better at OU than Mays was at USC.

You meander in the grocery store aisles unaware that no one can get around you huh? Or you don't know what a left turn lane is used for. Fess up.

Want no part of him. I hope Carroll drafts him high or he runs a 4.2 at 230 lbs. and Al Davis calls him a savior.

The game has changed a lot since 2002. I think that your safties have to better in coverage than 8 years ago.

if we draft him he won't be a safety for us. I would just hope he becomes more than a Nickel linebacker like Bobby bust Carpenter is for us.

Hoss I am sorry if you do not have the intellectual currency to make change on my posts.

I'd rather take Kyle Wilson and play an extra corner in nickel situations.
