Make sure you turn your sarcasm-detector on. :D

Dan Patrick:
How will the Mavs change their approach?

Don Nelson:
"We were just lucky that first game. They didn't shoot very well, and we didn't either actually. But for whatever reason, we played a little bit better than they did."
"I think they'll do just fine the second game. They'll be dominant as they should be and they'll mop us up.

"We have a better chance to get hit by lightning than to win tomorrow night."

Dan Patrick:
But the Warriors have beaten the Mavs six straight.

Don Nelson:
"I'm just the luckiest guy in the world."

Nothing to see here, he is just sandbanging and playing the underdog to keep his team focused.

If I was a Spurs fan, I would be focusing on the Nuggets  .

Lighten up, Mickey baby.

Those were some funny quotes by Nellie, regardless of who they were directed to or about.

You're taking all this basketball stuff way too seriously.

Is this a little better :laugh2: .

But in all seriousness, it is hard not to take it seriously when I am of the opinion that if the Mavs lose the series, it would rank as one of the All-Time greatest upsets in NBA history imo.

You're right about that. I think it would be bigger than Nuggets over Sonics. Especially now that the series is best out of seven as opposed to five.

I think you'll still win in 6, though.

that is not as bad as what he said before game 1.

Nellie is a funny guy. He is the biggest sandbagger ever. IF the mavs lose tonight it might be over.

He is like eyore...with his slow down in the dumps voice. He is funny. I really dont think his team needs motivation at this point though, but it is funny.

I don't think so. The Mavs are a team that could reel off four straight pretty easily.

Nobody gave the Nuggets a chance to even win a game much less the series. Nobody could possibly be surprised that the Warriors are already giving the Mavs problems based on what happened during the season.

I'm mostly talking about winning the series. It's much tougher for upsets now that it's best of 7.
