Donovan Ezeiruaku Highlights

Yeah, now give him a full off season of NFL strength and conditioning.

Then put him in a scheme that isn't complete trash.

Im excited to see what he can do.
Totally agree!! I think it was Broaddus that mentioned the OT's he played against this season weren't as good as the ones he played against in college, and that he was surprised his sack numbers weren't higher!

He played the run so much better than most expected.

For 2026, we just have to hope he takes the next step in the pass rushing department.
This is exactly what coaches wanna see from DLinemen and LBers. It's all about being the complete football player. I remember DWare was drafted, Parcell made sure he was not just a LBer chasing sacks ( like Shawn Merriman ), but knowing and handling the edge as a run defender. As Parcell put it, sacks will always be there, but I need him to be a complete football player.

My point is ......this kid is now our new DLaw ( role Kneeland drafted for). Excellent run defender who can give us 10-12 sacks a season. Now we need another high-level edge to help him .....

That's BS clickbait.....all NFL players are a step above.. first you say, no knock on him and then you knock him. Typical.
It's a lot easier, but takes more discipline to stop the run. His athleticism and better coaching will take him to the next level, if he buys in.

His PFF grades
I have zero concern with his low sack numbers. Like Dlaw, he's doing a lot of dirty work and besides, I'm sure losing Parsons impacted his sacks.

I will take this everyday ...........

BTW.......ever wonder how DLmen sacks suddenly go up during a contract year? There a good chance he's neglecting other responsibilities chasing the bag.

Fairly obvious they had him focus on run support before committing to his pass rush.
Next season he shouldn't have to think so much and should be able to play more naturally!

Inverse of what we drafted him for, but a welcome surprise.

I'm hoping he suffered from the 'Eberflus effect', where basically every pass rusher on the team suddenly forgot how to get to the QB

I believe he could have had six sacks in a pressure front you know and Dan Quinn's system just a system where they were trying to create extra pressure....

He was really good this year, Just because he didn't fill up the box score it doesn't matter, I saw it he just needs to learn to finish and then a better defense he would have.....

Thing the Cowboys need to do though and the draft is not get another guy like him they need an absolute stud finisher and I heard guys like Bain and it's not just his short arms he has too many games where he disappears where he gets a lot of pressure but he doesn't get to the quarterback and finish we need a true finisher..
