Donovan Wilson is turning out to be a real find

I like Kearse more as he doesn't miss as many tackles as Wilson does. Yes, more wow plays, but more plays given up.

I was saying it when this guy was drafted. He's a natural hard hitting, good tackling strong safety. Put him close to the line and watch him flourish.

I love the way he seems to trick QB's when they get out of the pocket. When the QB is looking at him he'll slow down like he's waiting for the QB to run. As soon as the QB starts looking down field again, he attacks them. That's the only explanation I can give as to how this guy sacks a QB when he's eight yards away. He's done that a couple of times now. It's too funny.

He has good instincts and plays with an edge to him - we need players with that attitude. I feel we have been a soft team for years

This kid is turning out to be a real find. He has really good range, plays with an attitude and is super aggressive. He could turn out to be one of the best safeties we have had in quite some time. I have really been impressed with his play.

I think he is actually becoming a tone setter for this defense

I haven’t really seen him mentioned much here on this foum and wanted to see what you guys thought?

Now we just have to get the rookie in at the slot corner in place of the veteran and we should be good to go.

All terrible joking aside, wasn't it just a season and a half ago that Cowboys fans lamented just how barren the safeties squad was? We had nobody.

Now the Cowboys are three deep when completely healthy. There is an embarrassment of riches at the safety position.

Now that is another similarity to the 90's Cowboys. They had incredible depth at both the safety and D-line positions.

The Super Bowl teams had James Washington, Thomas Everett, Ray Horton, Bill Bates, Kenny Gant, Brock Marion and Darren Woodsen. They were so loaded that the guys they couldn't keep, like Brock Marion, became future Pro Bowlers.

The Cowboys, again, have a fine collection safeties and Wilson is definitely one of them.
