Its real simple.

Of course he wants us to sign Darius. Because who would he start for? Roy? That would be a downgrade.

Hamlin? Darius is not as good in coverage as Hamlin.

It was a compliment and sort of a joke, saying he'd like to face Darius twice a year....because it will not be an improvement.

Before Roy, Darius was my favorite safety in the league. He is a headhunter, and a ball hawk. Any team that gets him now, will get him at a baragain. If he ended up here in a deal similar to T. Parrish's last year, I would welcome it. Depth/Competition.

Donovan (not McNabb) is this you? I'm not kididng here, I was in a fantasy football league with a guy named Donovan who was an Eagles fan. He drafted Donvan Darius as a RB. I told him he was a Strong Safety, and he still drafted him as a RB because he said he read where he was going to be starting in the Back Field.

Probably the same guy who drafts "TJ Whosyourmama" in those commercials...
