Well once again the Steelers are picking ahead of us, and one of their major needs, much like ours, is CB. All indications near the Burgh is that they will indeed take CB with their first pick. So don't get your hopes up if you're hoping that's the direction we go or have said guy in mind.

The Steelers always seem to take the guy most of us are clamoring for. At least it seems that way to me.

Did any of them think that Ryan Shazier was going to be their pick last year?

The Steelers hardly ever draft secondary guys in the first.

With that said Marcus Peters just seems like their kinda guy.

I'm not.

I do not think the right CB (for this scheme) will be available at 27. I think the pick will be a DE, DT, or LB. That is, if Gurley or Gordon do not drop.

I always go back to Josh Shaw.

I just think he would be fantastic in Dallas.

I would love to come out of this draft with Frank Clark and Josh Shaw.. I think both guys fit and would make us significantly better on D.

I like both of those players in the second half of the draft. I think both can contribute but neither is an immediate starter. Both have potential; great options!

Im pretty sure the stealers will go linebacker.

Colbert has mentioned it is a deep year for them and he is right.

All it takes is to look at the Steelers roster and see that right now, if the season started today, B.W. Webb would either start or be the nickel cornerback.

They are taking Kevin Johnson if he makes it there. If not him then Jones or Peters.

Corners I like late and that we seem to have shown interest:

Josh Shaw
Doran Grant
Kevin White
Justin Coleman
JaCorey Shepherd
Tray Walker

We do not have to take one early, much less, God forbid, trade up for.

To me, this isn't a draft where you look to trade up. The places where the Cowboys could use talent have good depth to them, except safety (where I wouldn't go out of my way to get any of them).
