Read how they almost LOST vs. the Bengals. They have found ways to screw themselves all year! It simply got worse as they had to man up to sturdier competition - any given Sunday for Dallas became every given Sunday in December.
When Dallas fans have to scour a IR list to feel confident - then you know there is a problem, wanting an edge is fine - NEEDING an edge is not.
The end of the season is a culmination of what DEFINES the team. THEY SCREW UP!!!! They Screw up every phase of the game, even when looking solid they will only play for 50 minutes.
When you read some of the post here when they win - people can't see the warts, hope rises faster than a fever but the underlying problems are never seen and what is worse the cancer of mistakes is seen as a pimple. If I see another "Debbie Downer" response - I'm going to punch the monitor!!! You point out problems and what do people do - turn on the person who actually sees real problems!!! It's turned into a whine about the poster.
This team believes they are somehow owed something as a Cowboy - let me remind everyone - those colors and that star is a uniform not a "ticket".
Until they play basic football - this team is going nowhere. It will take some weeks but the hope will rise and April drafting outlooks will come - but as always until they grind their noses into a football 101 class - NOTHING will change.
They can't Block, tackle, run routes, they lack recognition, they lack crispness, they aren't alert, they aren't aware (12 men, 10 men on the field!!)!! Those are qualities this team lacks and needs to be part of the mantra of change for the ENTIRE team!!!
Until they have a multiple moments of self blame - NOTHING will change.
READ this quote from that game: DID IT CHANGE, did it get better??? - (answer the next game was Arizona!)

Wins?? How about execution, improving, playing solid football?? THAT WAS WEEK FIVE!!!! CHAMPIONS??! How about playing good football and can the Championship talk! Romo had a pick and a fumble in the game (sound familiar?)
READ about about the screw-ups from Special teams!!! By screwing up the next game, they cost themselves a weapon - McBriar!!!
Oh the writing was on the wall just people did not want to speak of it because of winning ugly against sorry teams.
