That was the best that they can give! There has been talk in the local media about players not giving effort and packing it in. Kitna the fool called players out without naming names after the vikings game saying everyone was not rowing in the right direction.
This guy claims to be a leader but his words speak other wise. I dont think there is a bigger fraud in the NFL

Anyways, I fully expected the Lions to give everything they had today. Marinelli does still preach max effort as the losing atmosphere of Detroit has not worn him down yet. Come back in another year and you will see a beaten man
That was the best the OLine has played in years and the defense, although lacking talent played hard
That was probably the last hurrah and the next 3 weeks the Lions will get totally rolled

So give the Cowboys credit for walking into a hornets nest, sleeping thru the beginning of the game and letting the fact that they are developing into winners prove the end result

That being said, there is much to fix starting with the run defense and figuring out how to cover quick small receivers.

Once again we play a team playing their version of the Superbowl. Detroit played a perfect game, no sacks turnovers and not many flags.

And they lost.

I was about to say the same thing. I was there. The Lions could virtually do no wrong. They were executing everything. It was unbelievable. For Dallas to keep its composure and come back and win against a team that made NO MISTAKES (other than losing the game) says a lot about the character of this team. I'm so proud of our guys right now.

Me too.
A lot of people are down about the game, but we couldn't really expect to simply walk all over everyone in the league. 11-1 had some people thinking it was some kind of cake-walk, and there's no reason to think that.

The Cowboys showed they're great by taking a beating and still having the gut's and composure to win, regardless. There's no problem with crediting the Lions for executing their jobs to near perfection. It just wasn't good enough for a superior team that plays a full 60 minutes.

hey the Lions players get paid too
I really hate when fans say "we should have...."
these are all professional athletes who have experienced success most of their lives and usually have a lot of pride
As fans we really dont realize what it takes to make the NFL or any other professional sport
a victory in the NFL is to be enjoyed
We all know the drought as Cowboys fans we have suffered through the past decade
The difference between winning and losing in the NFL is as small as 6 inches which is what that field goal missed by

The Lions played one whale of a game, holding the lead for 59 minutes and 42 seconds. While I am really glad the cowboys won, let's not detract from the Lions' effort.

The Cowboys deserved to win, as they kept their composure and their focus. But let's face it, 9 times out ten, that winning drive falls short.

Actually, we've beaten them 4 out of the last 5, but I know what you mean. We have played some of our worst football against the Detroit Lions.

I second that!!

Talk about being clutch in crunch time. Witten's fumble could of easily derailed any hope of a comeback. The fact the whole team came through when it counted the most speaks volumes. And credit Romo for giving Witten the chance for the game winner. A true leader and the team beleives in him.
