If Shanahan goes to Tampa. WCO already in place, 4-3 defense, a ton of cap money, No GM in place as Bruce Allen was fired today. He would have total control of personnel, coaching, etc.

Curious timing of the Gruden firing in wake of the shrinking list of coaching candidates. Connect the dots especially if the Bucs are seeing Garrett leaving and all of the news has been that Shanahan would take over if Garrett left.

Thought about that too.

I have a source in Tampa, I hope he can shed some light.

Or what if Dom Capers suddenly appears in Dallas for a DC interview?

That would take the wind out of people's "Wade is Gone" sails pretty fast. :)

If Dallas wants Shanahan they'll get him.

He wont go to a second fiddle team that has a lot less talent.

Plus he'll have a brand spankin new stadium to start his career in Big D.

The my guys that are in the NFL tell me the owners of the Bucs aren't well liked. I believe Shanahan will choose Dallas because of is close relationship with Jerry Jones.

Shanahan is not going to Tampa. It is an aging team right now and they will need to rebuild before they get back to any significance. They would be better off taking the route Atlanta and Baltimore took by hiring a coordinator or something like that. Garrett maybe?

I cannot believe they fired Gruden. I feel he did a nice job down there.

Well, he won't make it in here without someone seeing him... That rug can be seen from space.

Kiffin did a nice job. Grudens bad offenses were his downfall.

We beat the guy without Romo....

isn't it true that no Superbowl winning coach has ever won a superbowl with 2 different teams?

That is true, but several have made it to the SuperBowl with different teams.

Speculation here in Tampa is Raheem Morris might be the guy.

Speculation from John Clayton is about the same. I also thought Shanny wanted a QB in place. Tampa couldn't be farther from having that luxury.

I think if JJ wanted Shanny, ge could make it happen.

Kiffin already said he was gone, to help his son in Tennessee, which probably facilitated the departure of Gruden as well... Their defense was the bread and butter of the team... They might as well have blown it up...
