Don't Blitz Romo

I am not feeling good about this game.

I have a feeling that the Eagles defense will bamboozle Romo. And if the playcalling is anywhere as stupid as it was against New Orleans, we'll shy away from the run (even though it'll work) to go to the pass.

Our run defense should keep Westbrook in check (through the run), but I'm afraid that Jeff Garcia, if given too much time, will gash our pass defense.

Oh man, someone please tell me why I shouldn't be worried about all this?

If our Oline reasonably handles the Eagles defensive onslaught and our secondary is half as bad as last week we can win the scoring duel.

Just throwing it out there.

I thought of that when I posted. My answer was only referring to blitzes on pass plays since that's what this thread is about.


I'm sure he's been blitzed more then 5-6 times a game per PASS play.
