Jerry needs to interview this guy, he's be great. A rogue with fire in his belly. Deserves serious consideration.

Why? Head coaching experience and a current NFL assistant. He's as good or BETTER than half the clowns I've heard mentioned thus far. Gary Gibbs should get a shot too.

At least Neuheisel plays to win. A great coach needs to be somewhat of an SOB. Are we interviewing Les Miles? We should. Rape scandal, oh please.

Neuheisel left two major Div I programs under questionable circumstances. He's irresponsible and prone to major errors in judgement. No thank you. Let's FORGET Rick Neuheisel.

You are trotting out every name possible, regardless of how realistic. I'll hand it to you, you're thorough.

It is an amusing idea, but barely.

BTW, Jerry doesn't need to listen to you or any of the rest of our opinions; he's the one risking the cash and rep.

Very few people are going to put stock in this, given Neuheisel's past history at the college level. And the fact that Aikman likes/played for him will not likely mean squat. Aikman won't have to pay for a coaching mis-hire, along with any other ex-players/coaches throwing names out there.

Is there an award we don't know about for getting the right name? :D

How about Lou Holtz as headcoach, Steve Mariucci as OC and George Seifert as DC?

Let's start an office pool on how long it takes Jerry to interview him. :D

He doesn't have previous ties to the Cowboys, so Im guessing he has an icecube's chance in hell.

If he had been our 3rd string QB in 1991, he would have been given the GM, HC and OC responsibilities with an 8 year deal hours after Parcells turned in his resignation.

How about Joe Paterno as headcoach, Wayne Fontes as OC and Roy Williams as a DC/Player coach? (what's the prize by the way?)

Succinct yet utterly hopeless. I like it.

How about Pete Rose for headcoach, no one has mentioned him, perhaps a fresh set of eyes from another sport would do just the trick.

Paul Zimmerman could be the defensive coordinator since no one knows as much about football as Zimmerman, he's like Zimmer but he's got a man on the end because he is the man.

Al Gore can gameplan offense just like global warming.
