It's been a while since I've shown my face around here. Not out of embarrassment but more just sheer disgust with football. Although I should be embarrassed. I made a few predictions last summer and let's just say I had the same accuracy rate as my namesake.

I said the Boys would win 12-13 games. Ha!
I said Hitchens was a valuable depth piece but not a good starter. I guess there are 9 million reasons a year that I was wrong there.
I said that signing free agents doesn't lead to postseason success. Denver and now the Eagles have thrown that theory to crap.
I said that Zeke wouldn't serve any of his suspension last season.

But it wasn't all bad. I also said the secondary would have some growing pains early but come on strong toward the end of the season. I don't know how "strong" they were, but they did show some real signs of improvement. I also said that Jaylon Smith would play - and eventually be pretty good. Again, I don't know if he was ever "good" but he also showed vast improvement by the end of the season.

I also showed concern for Tyron's back and I wish I was wrong about that one. Our line is much different without him at full strength.

So, let's say I'm batting about 43%. They don't call me Pelluer for no reason.

Your prediction prowess is likely a direct result of the hit MIke Singletary put on you on the 44-0 shellacking the Bears gave us back in the day...

all were reasonable positions. Props for coming back to own up to them, even though there's no need.

It takes a man to admit when he's wrong.

So you closer than the 3 or 4 wins some were predicting. Player evaluations are not strong points of mostmposters even though they think they know better. So your % is still probably better than most.

We all make predictions and it is called SWAG...scientific wild are guess....heck many GM's do the same thing. But our GM it is called JWB guess. :muttley:

Heck I was so disgusted I even said the Browns were closer to a SB then we were. Well, maybe that can still be true.....:lmao2:

Well, I predicted 16-0, and the Cowboys winning 42-0 every game. I must be a man, because I admit I was wrong.

2018 Predictions:
  • The Cowboys will have a 16-0 record
  • The Cowboys will win every game by the score of 42-0

Bro that video you linked to was not from the 44-0 game in 1985. That was a home game.

This game was from 1988 and obviously on the road.
