I just checked NFL.com and our defense is now 7th overall.

Quite a climb from where we were at the beginning of the year.

By the way.....I went to my first game in 25 years yesterday!

The defense is playing with more confidence which I'm very glad to see because this defense will face some big challenges that are still ahead of them.

I think we're getting closer to the defense that most of us envisioned when Wade took the reins...hopefully it will be in full effect by week 6. One thing I'm liking in particular...our depth is quite impressive.

When healthy, we're a good defense. Our only real weakness is covering the deep middle. We'll surely be tested by Moss and Stallworth in 2 weeks.

Yes we are playing better but we have played anemic offenses for the past two weeks in Chicago and st louis. When a team cant get torry holt the ball you know they are having problems. I do think the D is playing better but then again I don't know how much worse the rams could have played on offense either.

LOLThe D certainly looks like it is improving week to week but I have to many memories of (pick your big time receiver) looking over his shoulder at the defenders chasing him into the endzone.I hope we are still ranked this high after week 10. I think we will be but I need to SEE it! LOL

The D is still not there yet. Secondary still is not stout enough to keep guys like Favre, Brady, Manning, McNabb from putting up big numbers on us. But with Ellis back we just get that much better at rushing the passer, which will help our secondary.

Hopefully we rise to the occasion when we play the star qb's!!
