I was at a bar so it was hard to pay too much attention to the game...but did we have a false start?

Small sample. Let's chat about how well they're coached after the season. If Wade somehow ends up as the HC of the Boys next year I will puke continuously like an open faucet. I still think this tide of change is happening despite Wade not because of him. I think Garrett has said screw Wade and sees him more like a DC than a HC right now.

I think the Defense is the reason we have taken this thing to another level.

You also see guys like Mike Jenkins developing nicely for us.

And by the way this team talks in its pressers I would say they even sound focused on 1 thing. Getting better.

If this team cuts down on penalties and turnovers than it is over for our opponents.

Especially with the way Wade has our defense playing.

It's a mirage.

Wade didn't just suddenly learn to be a good head coach.

Your right he did not just now learn how to be a good coach he is a good coach and his players are playing hard for him.

I agree. I don't see Wade doing anything different now than what he's done before. I think the difference is that it seems the players have bought into it (finally). They're the ones executing the plays. There are still a few problems, but it's stuff that can be hammered out with hard work and focus. When the players control those on-field problems (penalties, not executing plays, etc), this team can be very strong. It's really up to the players more than the coaches.

And the team knows there is more work to do as do the coaches. I know Wade is 0-4 in post season but he is far from the 1st coach to start off 0-4 in post season.

I hope you take this same approach after the next game we lose.

I doubt you will though. It will be Fire Wade time.

We do need to look @ things after the season is over but right now I couldn't ask for anything better and to be honest our Offensive mistakes have hampered us more than the defense has all year.

Wade has finally got our D playing at the level we have all hoped that it would be for years now.

I think with the way Wade coaches, the players have to take it upon themselves to be leaders. We have not had good leaders in the past few years and we finally have some guys stepping up and taking those roles - namely Brooking.

The talent is there - the mentality has not been. Wade's style is "family" not a dictatorship so with that style you better have a team that can police themselves through team leadership and get themselves ready to play week in and week out.

Wade and the coaches just have to get the prep into them and if they are mature enough they will take care of it on the field.

The addition of Brooking, Sensabaugh, Romo protecting the ball better, and the general good health of our OL has been key, IMO.

The Character to a Man of the Players on this Roster have taken up the slack in Leadership and secured that role very similar to the 94' Team with Barry Switzer.

And while the Defense is playing better they're nowhere near (#22nd overall) where the better Ds' in the NFL stand and not even close to where other Super Bowl Championship Dallas Cowboys Teams were.

If the Oline can stay on track it's playing lights out rightnow.

They started off slow but have been playing as good as any defense out there.

I think it's more the fact that the players are trying harder to step up then it is Wade's improvment on his coaching style. I remember last season when there were players just thinking that if they strap on the pads thyey have a victory in hand just because they were the 13-3 Dallas Cowboys a year ago (2007) this year you see players with their eyes on the prize and leaving everything on the field. They just have to keep it up and I think with Romo and our D on a roll we have a great chance at knocking out the inconsistent Eagles

During Player Interviews over the last three weeks you keep hearing about the higher level of Practice during the week in preparing for the next game.

This "Novel Ideal" was brought on and perpetuated by a Player (Kieth Brooking) not by a Coach.

I think this weekend will tell us more about what we've been seeing,Philly is a hostile place to play if you can't take the crowd out of the game.A hostile enviroment against a NFC East foe is just what the doctor ordered to see what this team is made of.Hopefully they are up to the challenge because I don't care to see a repeat of game 16 from last year.

Yet Brooking came to Dallas in large part because of Phillips, having his best years as a player with Wade. Brooking is not the one putting together the game plans that is the coaching staff his job is to go out and execute and he is along with many others now. You want to rag on coaches when the team plays poorly fine that goes with the job of being coach but at least show enough class to give them credit when they have the team ready to play.
