Don't panic, SF isn't Denver, KC and LV though the experts say different

Ever since this week's DAL vs SF was announced, the NFL experts want to throw out how Dall could only beat one AFC West team (LAC). All those AFC West teams are built to defeat the mighty KC Chiefs. Their defenses work great against passing teams. Hence they caused trouble for Dallas.

SF is built to stop their divisional opponents which are run heavy teams and west coast offensive teams. Dallas may have to abandon the run at some point, but that's OK. Dallas can kill you by an air assault.

There was a reason why Dak threw 5 TDs last week.

Your thoughts?

If SF beats us we dont deserve to be in the playoff or to compete for a chip. No way a QB that threw 2 ints last game and who their fan base pretty much gave up on. Will come here to Dallas and run stuff. They will get some pressures/sacks and some runs but THEY SHOULD NOT DOMINATE US. But I expect Moore and Dak to show their worth if anything.

My thoughts are SF barely hit into the playoffs and are one dimensional. If we don’t let Debo make plays and we don’t start slow we win.
I agree with this thought and I want to know why the media is talking about the 49ers in a manner that we'll be playing Montana, Rice, Lott, etc in their primes. Man you'd think we were going against the 80's 9ers.

My thought is they are the 6th seed for a reason and have an injured QB who is above average when healthy.

But I hope the talking mediots keep disrespecting us because we always play better when disrespected. We play bad when mediots talk us up. So I hope they keep throwing shade at us and our defense goes into alpha dog mode and the Lion feasts on them all day.

This is the thing I worry about. We can't get behind multiple scores to a team that likes to run the ball and eat clock
SF can control the game with running it. Yes we must pour it on them early.

They barely hit into the playoffs because of their division.

If Dallas went 10-7 they would've still won the NFC East. The 49ers went 10-7 and finished 3rd in their division.

The reason why Prescott threw 5 TDs last week is because the competition was awful.
I honestly believed that that most here would understand that we played a practice squad team Saturday and nothing that happened that game would be bragged about or taken very seriously.

My goodness was I wrong about that.

statistically they are very similar to us. roster wise they are similar, although I think Dak is better than Grapolo. they are a physical team (run/stop the run) and we are a finesse offense. I hope Moore doesn't abandon the run when he hits a couple of snags (2 runs in 2nd quarter of AZ and 10 in first half). we have to utilize Pollard, with some quick tosses, quick passes and swing him out of backfield quickly to get him into space...get those big DL men running and chasing...they may have great starting DL, but they are not deep. force them to rotate them linemen and get them winded.

would love to see moore throw a few curve balls, with steele as a TE (not redzone, but middle of the field), go jumbo back field and then come out a series and go 2 minute hurry up offense. just keep them on their toes.

LBs are key in this game. Parsons and how he is tactically used. Neal and Parsons to neutralize Kittle. and LVE in helping to stop the run. just tell him stay close to LOS, don't worry about pass defense.

It doesn’t matter whether SF is better than, equal to, or worse than Denver, LV or KC. It matters for this game and this game only whether Dallas plays like it did in those 3 games. They came out flat offensively & weren’t prepared or expected what Denver did defensively. Penalties were a huge factor in the LV game. Poor technique and pushing the envelope gave an officiating crew the opportunity to insert themselves far more than they should be.

AT the end of the day 49ers eat and **** just like we do. I respect their journey to getting to the post season and they play in a tougher division but I can't fear a running team with Jimmy G as QB. Just can't. Maybe I should.....just don't. If this team doesn't sell out to stop the run and still gets ran over? Then they have the same issues that's plagued them for 3 seasons now.........

Officiating crews did that on their own. If the refs officiate this game like they did those? This will be a L. I don't expect that though. Think they got a decent officiating crew that will allow them to play in the post season.

That Thanksgiving crew was certainly flag happy. But my point is the way Dallas played gave them the coverage to do that. Case in point was the PI in AB in OT. He was beat and had to face guard, which is legal, instead of playing quality coverage and the ball. That crew may have still thrown a flag, but AB made it easy for the officials (2 different officials threw a flag at the same time). And let’s not forget, Dallas got the ball 1st in OT and promptly went 3 and out.

SF great run defense.
Give Dak time and he wins this one for us. Their secondary is not that good.
