Don't panic, SF isn't Denver, KC and LV though the experts say different

SF is a good team with some really good players. Deebo and Kittle are the real deal. So it Trent Williams. The matchup with Gregory is going to be an interesting one to watch. But Dallas has some good players too.

I honestly believed that that most here would understand that we played a practice squad team Saturday and nothing that happened that game would be bragged about or taken very seriously.

My goodness was I wrong about that.

The Colts played a practice squad team last week and how’d that work out? Bottom line we played the team in front of us and yes they weren’t good, but we whipped their *****. Are we suppose to apologize for that and only count it as a half of a win? It was a good confidence builder heading into the playoffs. Now when we whip the dog crap out of SF Sunday what will the naysayers say? Oh SF was only a 6th seed and their QB isn’t good. Lol! Win and advance that’s all I care about and the media and pundits can say what they want.

This is the thing I worry about. We can't get behind multiple scores to a team that likes to run the ball and eat clock
The Titans were behind them 10-0 at the half and won.
The Seahawks were behind them by 9 late in the 3rd quarter and won.
They were up on the Colts by 2 scores early and lost.

That Thanksgiving crew was certainly flag happy. But my point is the way Dallas played gave them the coverage to do that. Case in point was the PI in AB in OT. He was beat and had to face guard, which is legal, instead of playing quality coverage and the ball. That crew may have still thrown a flag, but AB made it easy for the officials (2 different officials threw a flag at the same time). And let’s not forget, Dallas got the ball 1st in OT and promptly went 3 and out.
I get what you're saying.....but I feel like poor officiating can result in poor play for the team. I just rarely see teams be able to defeat a NFL team and the officiating crew the same week.

Exactly what I was gonna say. Colts lost to a practice squad defense lol.

That’s my fear this weekend. Not that there’s a conspiracy against the Cowboys, but that the officials’ decisions will be as big a factor in determining the winner as the teams’ play. I just hope if that’s the case, the questionable decisions go our way. Something like the non-catch/fumble in the KC. Personally, I thought it was a catch and fumble, but was close enough to go either way.

I don’t think our offense will be on the field enough to really run the ball.

My thoughts are SF barely hit into the playoffs and are one dimensional. If we don’t let Debo make plays and we don’t start slow we win.

They barely made the playoffs because they got off to a real bad start early in the season losing 4 straight games. They’ve come on strong winning 7 of their last 9 games. They’re coming off their biggest win of the season against the Rams.

Cowboys have won five of their last six games since Thanksgiving. I’m not saying the 49ers aren’t good but they’re not the 80’s Joe Montana team and they have their flaws. Personally I like the matchup and think we do some things that will give them trouble.

Ever since this week's DAL vs SF was announced, the NFL experts want to throw out how Dall could only beat one AFC West team (LAC). All those AFC West teams are built to defeat the mighty KC Chiefs. Their defenses work great against passing teams. Hence they caused trouble for Dallas.

SF is built to stop their divisional opponents which are run heavy teams and west coast offensive teams. Dallas may have to abandon the run at some point, but that's OK. Dallas can kill you by an air assault.

There was a reason why Dak threw 5 TDs last week.

Your thoughts?
All of the numerous threads regarding this game ...haven't seen one comment that the 49ers were the NFC Champions just two postseasons ago - and were leading SuperBowl LIV 20-10 going into the 4th quarter.
The team had a disastrous 2020 (just like the Cowboys) due to many injuries.
Yes - their squad has undergone personnel changes among starters and reserves - but still have some key outstanding players such as Kittle and Bosa, plus adding some very productive newcomers.

This is simple: stop the run, make them one dimensional, and pressure Jimmy G to make mistakes. Easier said then done but I think the Cowboys can do it. Also LVE needs to not make business decisions and play like he did his rookie year.

Nothing matters what happened before this game. It’s going to come down to Smash Mouth who wants it more football.

I don't understand all this sudden love for the 49ers. They had to win to even make the playoffs Sunday.

The Cowboys are a 12 win, three seed team that led the NFL in scoring and yet people are making it sound like the biggest bullies in the NFL are coming to town. Of course the Cowboys need to play their top game to win; this is the playoffs after all.

But this is the matchup I wanted for Dallas in the wild card round. Nobody can convince me the Bucs, Rams, or Cardinals would have been an easier draw.
