Don't sleep on the Patriots: Dallas is 1-5 when coached by Belichick

Since Belichick became head coach of the NE Patriots, Dallas has played them 6 times and has a 1-5 record. Perhaps you'll chalk that up purely to having Tom Brady at QB, but Belichick at coach cannot be underestimated.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Belichick do two things just to pour salt in Dallas' wound and to get a last laugh on a former player:

1. Exploit the weak Dallas run defense using an ex-Cowboy RB Zeke Elliott 25-30 times. (insert Belichick grin)
2. Exploit a Dallas pass defense still trying to reestablish itself by picking on ex-Patriot CB Stephon Gilmore. (insert Belichick grin)

*I don't see Micah Parsons being a big factor. Belichick will have the Mac Jones getting that ball out in 2 seconds or less, and he'll have Zeke and the running game running right at Parsons. Gonna be an ugly game.

We’ll probably lose. Dallas was also like 1-6 or 1-5 against the Cardinals in their past 7 appearances pre-yesterday. We also sucked against the Broncos and lost badly against them that one year. Same with the 49ers, considering we lose against them every year. Same with Rodgers, who owns us and we’ve yet to beat him. Same with Brady until we got one over on him on his worst team ever.

History likes to repeat itself and it likely will this coming Sunday.

Who's sleeping on them? As Cowboys fans we should know that yesterday's game is bound to happen and our Jekyll and Hyde ways are bound to show up at any time.

Us overlook a team?? Come on now. When would we ever do that. This franchise and fan base has a very grounded sense of where this team really is.

Mac Jones has actually played pretty decent this year, better than Dak which to me isn’t all that surprising.
He leads in yards and is behind Dak in completion percentage and rating.

If there are no late week injuries we should be ok against the Patriots they were one lucky pass away from losing at the Jets. They could not score.

I'm pretty sure with a pathetic showing to one of the lowly teams in the Cardinals, no one is going to be surprised at all going forward. Doesn't matter who the team is. Not sure how many teams are worse than the Cardinals. It won't be many as the season goes along.

Of course the Patriots can beat us. Any team can beat us at this point. Diggs being out exposed this defense a ton. All I heard was "well teams won't have time to pass anyways so his absence won't be huge". Yeah, not at all. Diggs helped that pass rush a lot because his coverage skills caused the QB to have to use more time to scan the field to find an open guy. So the front got more time to make their moves and get after the QB. Now that our best DB is Bland, you are going to see QBs getting the ball out much quicker because guys are going to be open much sooner in their reads.
