I'm pretty sure with a pathetic showing to one of the lowly teams in the Cardinals, no one is going to be surprised at all going forward. Doesn't matter who the team is. Not sure how many teams are worse than the Cardinals. It won't be many as the season goes along.

Of course the Patriots can beat us. Any team can beat us at this point. Diggs being out exposed this defense a ton. All I heard was "well teams won't have time to pass anyways so his absence won't be huge". Yeah, not at all. Diggs helped that pass rush a lot because his coverage skills caused the QB to have to use more time to scan the field to find an open guy. So the front got more time to make their moves and get after the QB. Now that our best DB is Bland, you are going to see QBs getting the ball out much quicker because guys are going to be open much sooner in their reads.
The Cowboys very well could go on a long winning streak after this game.

They already slept on Arizona.
i think we underestimated the loss of 3 starting lineman and a key defeensive player....kinda seems like it threw them off their game overall for whatever reason

Sleeping ? We better be shot outta a cannon.

I will say this regarding OP post - maybe we drop Micah back more to play coverage and run .

Yep hate to say it. Yea one player going down can derail a whole team. That one player for the cowboys was diggs. Jerry needs to find a way to package a deal sweet enough to lure one of the top three corners in the league away from a contender. I really think the jets have more needs and whole sauce is a big player for them. I think they would trade him for two firsts and 3rd.

You don't sleep on anyone. This team can lay an egg any moment. It depends on what players fragile ego is offended

Here we go. Just like last year after the 1st game our season is over.
The season isn't over, but getting to double digits in the win column does not look good after the way Parsons was exposed by the Cardinal coaching staff. Expect NE to following the Cardinal's game plan to a T with a lot of runs and miss directions plays, not to mention getting the ball out of their QB's hand in mega seconds...................

Who's sleeping on them? As Cowboys fans we should know that yesterday's game is bound to happen and our Jekyll and Hyde ways are bound to show up at any time.
I think we will see a replay of the Minnesota game from last year on Sunday. Coach be darned.

Sleep on them, heck if there's anybody that's going to prep for this offense, it's gonna be Billa cheat.

No more Tom Brady so I like out chances as long as the o-line gets healthy!

Since Belichick became head coach of the NE Patriots, Dallas has played them 6 times and has a 1-5 record. Perhaps you'll chalk that up purely to having Tom Brady at QB, but Belichick at coach cannot be underestimated.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Belichick do two things just to pour salt in Dallas' wound and to get a last laugh on a former player:

1. Exploit the weak Dallas run defense using an ex-Cowboy RB Zeke Elliott 25-30 times. (insert Belichick grin)
2. Exploit a Dallas pass defense still trying to reestablish itself by picking on ex-Patriot CB Stephon Gilmore. (insert Belichick grin)

*I don't see Micah Parsons being a big factor. Belichick will have the Mac Jones getting that ball out in 2 seconds or less, and he'll have Zeke and the running game running right at Parsons. Gonna be an ugly game.
We beat Belechick and the pats in Foxboro back in 2021, which was the last time we played them. I can’t imagine anyone at the Star this week “underestimating” Belechick or the pats.

But acting like they have our number when we beat them at their house the last time we played them is strange to me. Sure we can lose Sunday. But it’s not like we’re playing a team that really has our number right now…like the niners.

Never underestimate any NFL team. You're putting your faith in a coaching staff & team medical staff that said....it's cool to sit three O-line starters against Arizona, week got this bro. A loss against the lowly Cardinals counts as much as a hopeful win against the Non-Brady Patriots....or the mighty Niners. Can't crap the bed against teams you're supposed to beat.

We’ll probably lose. Dallas was also like 1-6 or 1-5 against the Cardinals in their past 7 appearances pre-yesterday. We also sucked against the Broncos and lost badly against them that one year. Same with the 49ers, considering we lose against them every year. Same with Rodgers, who owns us and we’ve yet to beat him. Same with Brady until we got one over on him on his worst team ever.

History likes to repeat itself and it likely will this coming Sunday.
so I should bet the house on pats to win ? would hate to lose my house!
