WOW! Still processing what I just saw on MNF. I do not like Philly, but I'm going to call this one early.

1. Their WR's are going to devastate our Safeties and CB's.

2. We have no one to spy on Vick period... OUCH... Can you imagine Bradie James and Keith Brooking trying to track him?!

3. Our D is as porous as swiss cheese. (I thank God Almighty every time they force a punt.)

4. They have a major revenge factor against us after last years blowouts. They got blood in their eyes, violence on their mind, and we're going into the games wounded.

Our only hope is to run the ball extremely well, grind the heck out of the clock, and keep their offense, and our defense, off the field.

Yep. But our defense can't stop anyone anyway...so from here on out, the only way to win is to channel the Greatest Show on Turf Rams.

I don't know, as the Dallas secondary was picked for their abilities to run. Mental mistakes among the younger secondary are a killer, but an equal devastation that Washington saw doesn't seem to be the direction by this fan. There will be plenty of film on an altered game plan with Vick by then, and knowing Paul Pasqualoni, and Jason Garrett, the indicators and tendencies will be well rehearsed by the Cowboy secondary. It might be adequate time to get the Dallas front motivated and much healthier as well.

Experts and fan unanimously told us the same thing before the Giants game too and we won.For sure it won't be easy but anyone can win on any given Sunday.

Zone is definitely in order, the rushers have to stay wide and contain, when Vick runs around to buy more time, the safeties and corners HAVE TO KEEP RECEIVERS FROM GETTING DEEP NO MATTER WHAT, force them to walk down the field if at all possible, and most importantly, we have to UNLEASH OUR receivers on them as well.

The Skins played zone almost all game..... If Vick and the Eagles offense performs close to what they did tonight, nobody can hold them down.

Isnt this the same Eagles team that we kicked the crap out of 2 straight weeks at the end of last season?

Suddenly their receivers have become special? Doubt it.

The main difference is Vick vs McNabb. Let vick run if he wants to run.
Just shot down their pass like we did last time. People over play Vicks running. Let him go. He is fragile and fumbles. After getting hit a few times he will lose some of that run in him. But just dont stop coverage. Force him to throw.

Honestly the eagles looked really good. But so did the packers against us the week before. And so did the Giants against the Seahawks. The NFL is really an any given sunday league.

The Skins played Vick completely wrong. Didn't maintain gap discipline, Haynesworth quit on plays, etc.

They played scared and it showed. Remember we've dominated a much younger and faster Michael Vick with considerably less talent on defense.

Yeah, what we saw last night is how the Eagles play every week.

They're better than the 85 Bears for sure

make them earn it by not giving up big plays.spy on vick with anybody other than bradie or brooking , dont give up big plays and hope vick will make mistakes.

we need an agile quick guy to spy on Vick; maintain discipline in rushing him; and we need to lay the wood on Desean early so he gets alligator arms the rest of the game.

The Eagles OBVIOUSLY got up for McNabb.

The Eagles OBVIOUSLY played out of their mind. Everything just worked. That is an anomaly, not the MO.

We're going to sweep Philly and Michael Vick is going down with a concussion from Anthony Spencer crushing him when he tries to break outside the pocket. ;)

...and the Commanders can't cover fast receivers.
...and Orakpoo and the other Commander defensive linemen don't know how to hold containment.
...and it's the Commanders who perpetually suck.
...and the Commanders players were pissed about McFlap's new contract that they refused to play with effort.
...and that level of play was required to embarrass Danny boy cause thats what he deserves.

The only thing I could actually see us doing is maintaining our blitz lanes and containing vick. If we can get to vick before his 2nd read its going to force him to run. Our LB might not be the fastest, but if they can't take the proper angle to cut him off we have bigger problems on our hands.

I'm Skeered.

Like a little girl who is all alone and in the dark.

On second thought...I am not scared.

We play the game, we win, we lose...not going to get scared before it happens.

Vick might be the one player in the NFL that I really hope gets injured. Scumbag.

Jam and beat up the WR's when bolt of LOS. That will break Vick and his timing.

As much of a thug he and his brother have consistently displayed themselves to be, I really think he's starting to try to make radical lifestyle changes. I mean, I'm not going to applaud a man and give him an award for no longer systematically killing animals. Especially considering the NFL has hired Dungy to babysit him and there is a PR campaign to restore his image. But I get the feeling that he's starting to 'get it' and grow up a little bit.
