Should Dallas be looking at this guy? Move Sensabaugh over to FS and Have him play SS? Only 25.

The bills have already bringing in Otogwe and Bob Sanders in for visits.

I'm not thrilled about the guy, but I don't want to say no. I'd take him on a reasonable deal, although I'd rather bring in Bob Sanders as a package player to try to save him from injuries.

Whitner is a decent player though.

Yep he's a game changer when healthy.

Perhaps if we get Sanders, he could split time with AOA or a rookie, and thus hopefully keep Sanders on the field for a season, while also getting a young talented play maker on the field.

However, it does not appear Dallas is too interested at this point. I think they stay away from him and look to the draft, which is fine by me.

Time with Woicik will cure him lol.

5 career INTs. 3 career forced fumbles. 19 career passes defensed.

My answer would be no.

Yeah I don't know why every name is somebody we need to have. We need one guy at FS that we can be pretty certain about back there and the secondary will start to look a lot better pretty quickly. Whitner is not that type of guy. I like Poole from NY. Somebody who can cover and who will tackle and play 15+ games. Doesn't have to be Ed Reed or Troy Polamalu but we need to improve over Ball.

Should kinda tell you what they think of Whitner then, dont you think?

This guy is awful in coverage and he doesnt make plays. He's a bust.

Why? Like reading the weekly injury reports or something?

Most overrated player in NFL history, on top of being as fragile as glass.

he's far from overrated. Injury prone yes.

For the reputation and the Defensive MVP title, he is overrated, way overrated.

He is good player no doubt, but not the player he got accolades for. Heck far below what he gets accolades for.

He has total of 6 Ints for his career! He would have been roasted here in Dallas if he had those stats.

Stats aren't telling for him. He's a good player but Buffalo's defense is so putrid there's not much he can do. Would be a real nice fit at SS if we can get someone like Huff imo.

He won the DPOY while making a total of about 5 plays all yr...he's VASTLY overrated...I've never seen him make a significant play in any game I watched the Colts play..saw plenty of goobers ewwing and ahhing over him, but other than some decent hits vs run plays, he never did jack.

Sure they are. They tell a story of a guy who's played like a 5th or 6th rd pick all his career. And they also tell the story of a guy his current team wants to replace badly, because he's a bust.

Yea they drafted him way too high...doesn't mean he's a bad player.

And I'm pretty sure his contract is up, it's not that they are cutting him. Big difference imo.

Exactly, didn't Ware have like 20 sacks that year? I thought he should have one DPOY.

No. Sanders was pretty much out that year. It was James Harrison who won that year. Sanders won it either 2006 or 2007 I think.
