Doomsday Defense!

Was on full display. We took the most prolific offense in NFL history and shut it down with old school play.

I noticed a few things:

Brees was never in rhythm. I mentioned in a previous post that he would need to be moved off of his spot with A gap pressure and our DTs delivered. They set up our edge guys to have one on one matchups.

Brees constantly had to check down. It got to a point where they would settle for quick check downs and bubble screens. He had nothing deep.

Final thing, Hill wasn't seen as much as he normally is involved in other games. They didn't even get a chance to get cute with their sub package personnel. We took their fun time away and gave them a serious beatdown.

All of these elements were on display thanks to the Doomsday Defense!!! Time to beat up on Philly!!

Defense played great. A big game and they came up huge.

It was like that tidal wave that cap sized the Poseidon. But this time, there were no survivors.

Dallas has to keep the throttle down until after the Superbowl. The Dallas defense dominated on each level. The CBs, safeties, Lbs annd D-line. They are the best in the NFL from top to bottom.
