How many posts calling him "hot garbage" or "worthless" over the past five seasons?

How many times was he the correct answer to the question, "Who do we cut/trade"?

This is why you keep your guys. Familiarity has a cumulative effect on team cohesion.

Cooper Rush, Noah Brown, Anthony Brown.....

I suspect that one of the major strengths of these coaches are that they are excellent teachers. Not only do they know how to use great players, they know how to make players great.

Still would not mind us adding some outside free agency help.

I've noticed there are different strategies when it comes to adding talent.

The first one is rather simple. You buy the level of talent you want readymade in a veteran free agent while paying that premium price.

The second method is you acquire someone with the physical attributes capable of doing what you want and you teach them how to do what you want.

The first method requires an investment of cap space. The second one requires an investment in time and patience. The lower round draft picks as well as rookie free agents make up the majority of players using the second method.

Time and patience have produced players like Noah Brown and Dorance Armstrong, as well as Dalton Schultz and Terence Steele. We should all remember this when discussing the younger players that are lower draft picks and rookie free agents. Part of acquiring experience is learning from mistakes.
